Allahabad University: 11472 contenders for admission on 900 seats of LLB, about thousand applications received – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

11472 candidates have claimed 900 seats for the three-year LLB course in Allahabad University (AU) and constituent colleges. The admission cell of AU has released the final number of applications for the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGAT). A total of 35673 applications have been received for admission to approximately 10 thousand seats of PG, which is a record.

16919 candidates had registered for admission in LLB, out of which 11472 candidates have completed the application process by paying the fee and will now appear in the entrance exam. Out of 2994 candidates who had registered for admission in PG courses of Institute of Professional Studies (IPS), only 660 candidates have completed the application process by paying the fee and will be able to appear in the entrance exam.

The maximum registrations and applications have been done for admission in 32 courses including MCom, LLM under PGAT-1 and 24 courses including B.Ed, M.Ed, MBARD, MBA under PGAT-2. A total of 39007 registrations were done for these courses and out of these 23541 candidates have completed the application process by paying the fees. Thus, a total of 58920 registrations and 35673 applications have been done for PG admission.

After the completion of the online application process, candidates have been given a chance to make changes in their applications from 14 June to 15 June at 5 pm. Candidates can make changes in 15 categories. After the completion of the correction process, there may be a slight change in the number of applications. The university administration is going to announce the date of the entrance examination soon.
